VanHook and Newlun’s class of 40 students entered the program together in the fall of 2011 and remained intact to graduate at pinning ceremony. A Florence Nightingale Pledge and lamp lighting ceremony was also performed at the graduation, a nursing tradition that dates back to 1893.
