Steve Spann, Bella Vista police officer, marks the road Monday where a 2012 Toyota Sienna crashed into a southbound semitrailer while attempting to turn left onto Riordan Road, police said. Drivers of both vehicles were transported by ambulance to a hospital. Both drivers had minor injuries, police said.

Fire crews from Centerton, Bentonville, HIghfill and Benton County reponded to the blaze at 700 Spur Lane and were able to knock the fire down quickly. The occupants of the residence were not home at the time the fire broke out. An investigation will be conducted by the Benton County Fire Marshall to determine the cause of the blaze.
