Nika Waitsman receives the Dorothy Lindquist Volunteer of the Year Award on Tuesday evening from Tim Hudson, president of the Fayetteville Board of Education, during the 2013 Outstanding Volunteer Banquet at Fayetteville High School. Waitsman has been active in the parent organizations at every school her kids attended. This year she is active at Fayetteville High School and is president of the Parent Teacher Organization there.

The Razorbacks decided to play a doubleheader against New Mexico Tuesday so they would avoid a chance of a rain out Wednesday with storms expected to move in to the area Tuesday evening.
