Merlin Augustine, the Easter Feed's founder, said the community meal event expected to serve more than 5,000 meals on Saturday. A crew of approximately 200 volunteers cooked and served meals in addition to packing 3,000 "to-go plates" for residents who are home-bound or unable to get to the event in person.
