Jeffery Vinger, University Housing's director for residential facilities shows where a dorm room has been converted to an open space to allow more light into the new  common areas on the 9th floor of Hotz Hall on the University of Arkansas campus Wednesday afternoon. Each floor of the old dorm is converting 4 rooms to common areas for students to use.  Hotz Hall is one of four housing projects University of Arkansas officials have planned between now and 2020. Hotz and Founders halls are expected to open this fall and add approximately 630 bedrooms on campus

Sue Madison and Justice of the Peace Eva Madison set cupcakes out on individual plates Saturday, March 30, 2013, during the 20th annual Trent Trumbo Memorial Easter Feed in Fayetteville at the Central United Methodist Church. Merlin Augustine, the Easter Feed's founder, said the community meal event expected to serve more than 5,000 meals on Saturday. A crew of approximately 200 volunteers cooked and served meals in addition to packing 3,000 "to-go plates" for residents who are home-bound or unable to get to the event in person.
