JASON CRABB — Seventeen-time Dove Award winner Jason Crabb released his newest album, “Love Is Stronger,” on March 12 to much critical praise. The vocalist will perform tonight at The Auditorium in Eureka Springs as a fundraiser for the Great Passion Play. The play nearly closed for good last fall after 40 years of operation but was saved at the last minute. Tickets for the benefi t concert are $10 in advance through thegospelstation.com or $12 at the door.

BEN RECTOR — One-time Fayetteville resident Ben Rector is gaining fans all over, having sold out stops around the country and toured with the likes of Needtobreathe, which brought him to Fayetteville last fall. The piano pop artist returns for a pair of headlining dates on Wednesday and Thursday at George’s Majestic Lounge. Both shows begin at 9 p.m. and feature opening act Alpha Rev. Admission is $18.

THE JOY FORMIDABLE — More than 100 bands will converge in Kansas City, Mo., on the weekend of April 4-6 for the indie rock event called the Middle of the Map Festival. The event, which includes headliners such as Grizzly Bear, Divine Fits, Futurebirds and The Joy Formidable, pictured, is entering its third year. The festival will occupy various venues in the Westport district of Kansas City. Three-night music passes are $45; film and forum tickets come at an additional charge.
