Deric Subbert, a Centerton firefighter, rolls up a section of fire hose Saturday after working the scene of a fiery two-vehicle accident on Arkansas 102 near Coffelt Cemetery Road west of Centerton. Heath Alsip of Gentry was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville in good condition for injuries suffered in the accident. According to State Police Officer Jesse Woodham, Alsip’s vehicle crossed the center of the highway and collided with a delivery flatbed truck being driven by Meeks Lumber employee Daniel Cantu, who escaped his burning vehicle without injury.
