Brett Foley and Kassie Hammond, both Gentry High School students, listen Thursday to the comments from robot inspector Victoria Cook of Kansas City, Mo., as they continue to work on the robot that will be entered in the “Ultimate Ascent” competition. The robot will be required to climb and launch flying discs. The competition is part of the Razorback Regional FIRST Robotics Competition in Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville. The three-day competition has more than 40 school participating from Arkansas and surrounding states.
