Sandi J. Formica, center, executive director of the Watershed Conservation Resource Center, speaks Wednesday about a restoration project along Millins Creek on the University of Arkansas campus while Carlos Ochoa Jr., left, director of the Office of Sustainability at the university, listens during a tour of the site on the campus. The project is the work of the univerity, center, Fayetteville, Arkansas Natural Resource Commission and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. When finished, the realignment of the waterway along with the addition of stabilizing rocks and vegetation, is meant to reduce sediment and nutrients in the West Fork of the White River, which flows into Beaver Lake.
