Rosalind Brewer, right, president and CEO of Sam’s Club, laughs Wednesday with Twyla Francis of Little Flock while chatting during the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Benton County’s annual Corporate Appreciation Luncheon at the DoubleTree Suites in Bentonville. Brewer and Francis were both guest speakers at the luncheon held to thank the donors for their support of the program. The fund supports 142 single mothers and fathers and will see 38 of its participants graduate this spring. Another 29 participants will be moving on to higher education.
