OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW — The Arkansas Music Pavilion has announced a new concert for its 2013 season, and tickets go on sale this morning. Neobluegrass group Old Crow Medicine Show will perform on May 4, a Saturday night. The group, known for bridging the gap between old-time traditionals and new-wave Americana, has been featured at many festivals and at the Grand Ole Opry. Tickets range from $32-$77 and go onsale at 9 a.m. today at 443-5600 or waltonartscenter.org.

ROSANA ECKERT — A musician known for her roles as an educator, vocalist, songwriter and more will join forces with two jazz groups in Fort Smith for a weekend performance there. Rosana Eckert, called “fresh and sophisticated” by Allaboutjazz.com, will perform with the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith’s Jazz Band and its Jazz Cats vocal group at 7:30 p.m. today. Tickets are $8 and are available through the UAFS box office or by calling 788-7300.
