Mitch Wright, a teacher at Springdale High School, explains the floor plan of the future food production lab June 7 at Springdale High School. The former animal science lab is under renovation to make space for the new program. Two sections of the class will be available for students in the fall semester. The class is structured as a three-year course preparing students for food science majors in college and jobs in food-related industries.
