Susan Shumate, left, a county clerk office employee, helps Nancy Leake while her husband, Joe Leake, is helped by Janie Wellesley, also with the clerk’s office, during early voting Tuesday in the Bentonville School District millage election at the county clerk’s office in the Benton County Administration Building in Bentonville. If approved, district millage will go up by 6.7 mills to 50.4 mills. Most of the money would go to building a second high school.
