Matt Colson, center, moves through the line as Emily Colston, left, collects trays for herself and Morgan Colston, 7, right, while Leah Whitehead, president of the Benton County Historical Society, dishes out beans Thursday to other attendees of the annual Bean Supper at the 1866 Bentonville School House at 306 N.W. 2nd St. in Bentonville. In addition to dinner, the event hosted demonstrations and music. Proceeds from the fundraiser go back to the Historical Society and their project indexing land records from 1838-1898.
