Lowell firefighters, assisted by Springdale emergency responders, remove a passenger Thursday trapped in a Hyundai Sonata at 119 S. Bloomington St. in Lowell. The Sonata was facing south on Bloomington and turning left into the Dairy Queen when it was struck by a silver Toyota Camry heading north. The male passenger in the Sonata was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale.
