Phet Thirakoun of Springdale visits Saturday with Lulu, a 4-year-old pug at the Humane Society for Animals’ annual fall fundraiser at 407 E. Nursery Road in Rogers. Lulu, available for adoption, was visiting with Camp Bow Wow in Bentonville where she is being fostered. The nonprofit shelter, funded by donations, is raising money to build a new shelter. The shelter is more than 30 years old and can hold 85 dogs and 20 cats.
