Rogers Police Department patrol officer Chad Pomielto runs with the Special Olympics Torch Monday morning on Walnut Street in Rogers. Pomielto was running with members of the Rogers Police Department participating in the annual Torch Run through the city handing off the torch to members of the Springdale Police Department when they reached the city limit.The torch run is meant to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics, which holds its summer games Thursday through Saturday at Harding University in Searcy.
