Members of Enactus, a NWACC student organization promoting entrepreneurial spirit in the community, met with fourth- and fifth-graders from Elmdale’s Economics Club throughout the year to teach them about how to run a business. Students had to create a product to sell, develop a business plan, market their product and sell it at the expo. Students focused on recyclable or renewable products. Alex and his team made coasters out of old T-shirts.
