Artist Hank Kaminsky describes the Sacred Ground Project in his studio Monday afternoon in Fayetteville. The final sculptor will be of concrete, weigh more than 600 lbs. and have the words "you are standing on sacred ground" written in about 25 different languages on it. Once the relief sculptor is complete and on it's base, it will stand seven feet tall.
