Shoua Moua of Lee Family Farm in Decatur collects heads of lettuce to put on display Saturday at the Jones Center in Springdale during the first Springdale Farmers Market of the season. The market is open from May through Oct. 26 at the center from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and at the Shiloh Square in downtown Springdale from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The market will host 35 returning and 17 new vendors in the seasonal marketplace. Vendors sell a variety of items from fresh fruits and vegetables to meat and egg products as well as artisan breads and craft items.
