Ryan Bolinger, Fayetteville’s Transportation Division lead man, operates a backhoe Tuesday above Bradley Boerger and Nick Willbanks as they work on storm drains on North Street. The division has started construction on a North Street recycling drop-off. The facility, just west of the Scull Creek Trail crossing, will be similar to the city’s other recycling drop-off on Happy Hollow Road. Multiple containers will be available where residents can dispose of glass, plastic, aluminum and paper products. The new, centralized location is intended to appeal to apartment dwellers in the area.
