Fayetteville City Council member Sarah Marsh reads a resolution from the City of Fayetteville opposing the the construction of a hog farm to concerned citizens as they demonstrate near the corner of Garland and Maple Avenues on the campus of the University of Arkansas Tuesday afternoon in Fayetteville. The demonstration was to continue to bring attention to the permit that the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has issued to C&H Hog Farm, a 6,500-animal hog farm which is under construction on a tributary of Big Creek, which feeds into the Buffalo River.
