Bill Doerflinger, mechanic for Air Evac Lifeteam, from bottom, washes the horizontal stabilizer Monday, April 8, 2013 on a Bell 206L3 JetRanger as Doug Cotner, base pilot Supervisor for Air Evac, and Richard Styles, pilot with Air Evac, assist at the Air Evac Lifeteam 04 station on Maple Avenue in Springdale. The crew performed basic maintenance on the helicopter before giving it a thorough washing. Doerflinger said the tail gets very dirty since it catches a lot of the exhaust gasses while the engine runs.
