The Lafayette Street bridge, built in 1938 and the Maple Street Bridge (just north of Lafayette) built in 1936, are in need of repair. The city is considering using federal money to help restore the bridges. Design is expected to take up to nine months, with construction beginning in early 2014. Read story »
