NWA Media/MICHAEL WOODS --02/16/2013-- Volunteers (left to right) Chuck Woods, Perry Hayes and Christian Sanchez work on smoothing out a freshly cut section of trail around the south side of lake Fayetteville Saturday morning. Members of the Ozark Off Road Cyclists club are partnering with Fayetteville-based Progressive Trail Design to realign a roughly 1.3-mile section of the soft-surface (nature) trail on the south side of lake Fayetteville between Veterans Memorial Park and the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. The soft-surface trail is 5.5 miles long but will get about a mile and a half longer once the new section of trail is finished.
