The Providence Academy Patriots of Rogers captured the large school Class 3A Jr. Boys Basketball State Championship. The Patriots came from behind to beat Southwest Covenant Prep of Oklahoma City 46-41 in the OCSAA State Finals. The OCSAA is comprised of private schools across Arkansas and Oklahoma. The Patriots won the small school state championship last season. This is their first championship in the largest class. The Patriots Jr. finished the season 18-4, the best junior high mark in school history. Team members are, from left, front row: Gage Siemens, Patrick McCymond, Riley Fox, Nathan Bandy, Branden Thomas and Aaron Lockhart.
