Nehemiah Looper, a worker with the Washington County Road Department, operates a track hoe Monday to demolish the bridge that spanned the West Fork of the White River and connected Harvey Dowell and Mally Wagnon roads. The 87-year-old bridge is being replaced with a two-lane bridge at a cost of $400,000 to $500,000. The project is expected to be completed by December.
