Brandon Williams with Fayetteville’s Transportation Division, uses a trowel Thursday to smooth newly poured concrete on West Sycamore Street. Transportation crews will be constructing sidewalks, repairing drainage pipes and repaving Sycamore from North College Avenue to west of Wheeler Avenue for the next three weeks, said Terry Gulley, Transportation Services director. The street will be closed to traffic during work hours, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
