Thurman Metcalf stirs a pot of soup Saturday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Rogers before diners arrive for the church’s annual soup-supper fundraiser. Metcalf, coordinator of the event, said profit helps purchase weekend snack packs for 50 children. Several area churches and businesses chip in to help with the fundraiser, Metcalf said.
