Wayne Bolin, left, and Bud Bolin, both Highfill ranchers, get a look at the livestock up for auction Thursday at the Benton County Sale Barn in Siloam Springs. Wayne Bolin said he normally manages an average of about 400 head of cattle and has sold off all but 100 head because of high feed prices. He said he just can’t afford the hay to winter a normal size herd.
