Matthew White, 10, (above left) hands Teresa Blackwood a package of rolls Saturday for her food box during New Life Christian Center’s annual Serve A Life holiday distribution at the church’s Bentonville location. New Life Christian Center handed out about $10,000 worth of food, enough to feed 400 families, and gifts to residents in need at their Centerton and Bentonville churches. Each family received a whole turkey with all the trimmings for a traditional Christmas dinner and toys for each child. About 150 of the church’s members volunteered their time for the distribution effort.
