Members of the GoRuck Challenge class 362 (above) do push-ups together after completing 200 log presses Saturday at on the northeast side of Lake Fayetteville. A GoRuck Challenge is an 8- to 10-hour event where participants work together to perform physical tasks over 15-20 miles while each carrying 40-pound backpack and additional “team weight.” The challenge is led by former members of U.S. special forces and special operations. A portion of each entry fee for the event benefits the Green Beret Foundation.
