Scott Walker, with Mid-America Karate, gets a high-five from Amore Derossi, 5, Monday after she practiced a verbal technique when dealing with a bully during Jennifer Kirkland’s kindergarten class at Grace Hill Elementary school in Rogers. Walker has been teaching the children anti-bullying techniques using their words to defuse a situation. The classes have also been tracking their acts of kindness toward others. The class with the highest number will be given a special party.
