Reilly Bacoccini, 10, secures his helmet strap Monday at Tiger Athletic Complex in Bentonville during the kickoff event celebrating the Bentonville Public Schools District’s new bike program. Through numerous grants, the district received 540 bikes and helmets to integrate into the physical education programs. The bikes will be maintained by the district’s Entrepreneurial Bike Shop, a program designed to train 15 high school students to become bicycle mechanics and teach the students how to run the shop.
