Silas Aldama, 3, wishfully watches ice skaters Saturday at Lawrence Plaza in Bentonville. Saturday was the opening day for the seasonal rink and offered skaters free entry and skate rental. The rink will host ice skating classes and shows in partnership with the Arkansas Figure Skating Association in addition to pictures with Santa and Friday movie nights. The rink is open through Jan. 20. Entry fee is $3 and skate rentals are $2.
