Jake Lamkins, a longtime volunteer at the Fayetteville Public Library and a member of the Friends of the Fayetteville Public Library’s board, sorts books Wednesday slated to be sold Saturday at the organization’s annual book sale, set for 9 a.m. until noon in the Rock Street entrance of the library’s parking garage. The annual sale, which raises money for various library programs, will feature more than 10,000 books, cassettes, records, CDs, VHS tapes and DVDs available for purchase. Paperback books will cost 25 cents and hardbacks will cost 50 cents.
