John Gray with Bentonville’s Parks and Recreation Department plants violas Tuesday at the Parks and Recreation building at 215 S.W. A St. About 180 violas, grown in the city’s greenhouse, were planted among 450 tulips for the flower bed in the front of the building. In total, about 6,000 tulips and 4,000 violas will be planted around downtown for the cool weather season. Summer plants will replace the current vegetation in May.
